Description: "Reimagining Assessment and Data Practices: Considerations for Fall 2020." This session will offer: an overview of the eight webinars in this learning series; reliable “checks for understanding” shared by Minnesota teachers during distance learning that support a more accurate picture of student understanding; suggestions for using existing assessment structures to strengthen students' social-emotional learning (SEL) skills; and tips for using evidence to make real-time impacts on teaching strategies (expanded upon in Sessions 3 and 4). Teachers will earn one continuing education unit for attending this presentation.
