Math Summer Professional Learning

Minnesota Council of Teachers of Mathematics (MCTM) Call and Response to the New Normal: An Equity Conversation Webinar

Date: August 11, 2020

Time: 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Description: Minnesota is now internationally recognized. How do we respond? We have had the largest achievement gap in the nation for decades. We need to acknowledge where we have been and make a difference NOW. Doing something is not the question. Where will we go from here?

Please join us for a round table discussion hosted by Barb Everhart, Laura Wagenman, Margaret Williams, and Lesa Clarkson. Prior to this session, participants are asked to view a TODOS webinar and consider the guiding questions provided below. We will discuss experiences and ideas as well as how we, as a math community in MN, engage moving forward. Consider these guiding questions while watching and come ready to discuss.

Prior to August 11, 2020 please watch the TODOS webinar.
