Student Learning Goals: Designing and Improving Systems for Student Success

Description: This workshop is designed for district, school, and teacher leaders who are looking to refine their student learning goals processes for in-person, hybrid, or distance learning environments. Participants will: (a) learn about the essential features of student learning goals systems, beginning with templates and checklists that are critical to establishing clear, coherent goals; and, (b) examine ways to assess students using valid and reliable assessments aligned to state and local standards.
To assist with this process, the Minnesota Department of Education has planned two, two-day WebEx sessions around student learning goals. Participants need to register for both days to access the full training.
