School Nutrition Back to School Essentials 2018
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE)’s Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) is excited to offer the annual two-day School Nutrition Back to School Essentials 2018 training, August 14-15, 2018. This training will be held in five locations in Minnesota and focus on essential content for school nutrition program operations. The Free and Reduced-Price Process will be covered on August 14, and Nutritional Quality and Meal Pattern will be the topic for August 15. We will train using a blended method, where content is broadcast from MDE to each location; MDE staff will facilitate discussion and activities. Space is limited by location, and registration is recommended. We will provide an hour break for lunch on your own.

- Offer vs. Serve for Breakfast and Lunch
Presenters: Presented by an MDE child nutrition specialist (blended learning method)
