Feeding Infants in the CACFP Webinar

Description: This live, one-hour webinar provides sponsors with documentation tools to meet CACFP requirements and with resources to have effective conversations with staff and parents about infant feeding.

Attendees will be able to:

Practice responsive feeding

Identify baby’s cues for hunger and fullness

Identify next steps when parents request a very unusual infant formula

Answer parents questions about the CACFP Infant food program and meal pattern.

Name the problems of starting solids too early and too late.

· CACFP coordinators

· Any staff person new to CACFP (in last three years) involved with the CACFP infant meal pattern and infant feeding
