Developing a Schoolwide Program Training Series

Set: Developing and Drafting your Plan (Part 2 of 3 workshops)

Workshop: 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Location: Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), 1500 Highway 36 West, Roseville, MN, 55113, Conference Center A, Room 14. Find directions to MDE. MDE has complimentary visitor parking.


This workshop will explore further how effective school leaders engage and guide staff, families and students in the process of change and provide the school’s teams with tools, strategies and a framework to develop a comprehensive school improvement plan which is informed by the results of the completed Comprehensive Needs Assessment. Best practice student strategies will be identified and examined. Teams will learn how to establish specific, assignable SMART goals and begin to develop their plans to implement the schoolwide program.

Work time will be provided for you and your team.

Homework will be assigned and reviewed at the April 22nd workshop.
