Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) 1801 District Leadership Team Summit

Description: A networking opportunity for district leadership teams from all 8 partnering CDC 1801 districts throughout Minnesota to celebrate year one successes. An emphasis on establishing a strong foundation for future years on school wellness initiatives.

Presenters: CDC-Virtually, Jeremy Vann, Cate Bosserman and Terri Swartout.

Event Type: In-person meeting.

Audience: District leadership teams (a team consisting of at least 3 members) representing the district in diverse areas, such as administration, student support services, food service, physical education, health education, out of school time coordinator, classroom teachers, wellness coordinators and/or wellness committee members. Local public health may also attend with identified district leadership team members as a community partner.

Sponsor: Nutrition, Health and Youth Development Division.
