Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Basic Training
Time: 8:30 a.m. — 12:30 p.m.
Location: Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), 1500 Commerce Street, Roseville, MN, 55113, Conference Center B, Room 15. Find directions to MDE. MDE has complimentary visitor parking.
Description: This in-person, four-hour workshop provides a basic overview of the CACFP requirements.
Presenters: Molly Turnquist Butala, Gloria Vellinga, and Valarie Stofferahn.
Event Type: In-person workshop/training
Audience: Child care centers, adult care centers, and emergency shelters participating in CACFP. Target audience includes new center directors, new CACFP coordinators, new cooks or food service directors, any staff person who is new to CACFP and involved with any of the training topics listed, and anyone who would like a refresher on CACFP. This training is not intended for sponsors who only operate the At-Risk Afterschool Meal Program.
Sponsor: This training is partially funded by the United States Department of Agriculture Meal Service Training Grant.
