Description: Solicit means to seek or obtain by making one’s needs known. In this session you will discover steps to take to ensure that potential venders understand your needs and you get the best pricing response to your procurement process. We will also discuss scheduling your procurements for the school year to ensure that you have what you need when you need it.

An important part of preparing a solicitation is developing specifications for the goods and services you need. This session will go over the process of developing specifications that identify needs without restricting competition.
