Integration Rules

In 2015 the Minnesota Department of Education began the formal rulemaking process to amend the rules relating to achievement and integration, Minnesota Rules, Chapter 3535, under the ongoing authority granted by the 2014 legislature. The Request for Comments was published in the State Register on February 9, 2015. The comment period ended on April 10, 2015. A rulemaking hearing on the department’s proposed achievement and integration rule was held on January 6 and 7, 2016, at the Minnesota Department of Education. The Office of Administrative Hearings issued the Report of the Chief Administrative Law Judge and the Report of the Administrative Law Judge on this matter on March 21, 2016. The department has withdrawn the proposed achievement and integration rules. More information about the withdrawal of these rules can be found in the Notice of Withdrawn Rules posted below. The Notice of Withdrawn Rules was published in the State Register on Monday, October 17. The publication of this Notice concludes the current rulemaking proceeding on the proposed achievement and integration rules.
