Team Nutrition

Team Nutrition is a U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) program that works to alleviate childhood obesity and promote physical activity. The program provides training and technical assistance to food service staff, nutrition education for children and their caregivers, and school and community support for healthy eating and physical activity. Team Nutrition’s goal is to improve children’s lifelong eating and physical activity habits by using the principles of the Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPlate.

Team Nutrition Resources
Schools and child care facilities participating in federal Child Nutrition Programs can access nutrition and physical activity resources. Order hard copies or download materials from the USDA Team Nutrition website.
