Food and Nutrition
The Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) administers the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Child Nutrition Programs. These programs promote the health and well-being of children and help fight hunger and obesity. Organizations such as schools, child care centers and non-profits are reimbursed for providing healthy meals to children.
