Child and Adult Care Food Programs
The CACFP helps institutions and daycare homes serve well-balanced, nutritious meals and snacks to the participants in their care. Serving nutritious meals and snacks contributes to the wellness, healthy growth and development of young children, and the health and wellness of older adults.
The CACFP meal patterns have been revised to ensure children and adults have access to healthy balanced meals throughout the day. For more information, visit the Meal Patterns webpage.
