Experiential and Work-Based Learning

Experiential learning is the process of learning through experience and then reflecting on the experience of doing.  There are a variety of experiences that students can do to learn more about career fields and occupations.  Experiential learning can include a work-based learning at an internship position, doing a job shadow, hearing a guest presenter describe his/her career pathway, attending a career fair, completing a service learning project, and visiting a college campus.  Access experiential learning opportunities and definitions of the various types below.
