Prekindergarten through Grade Three (P3) leaders, administrators and educators are encouraged to use the table, below, to choose from a statewide list of certified trainers for Kindergarten Entry Profile (KEP)-approved assessments. Each trainer is certified to train by the publisher of the assessment and is ready to partner with you to provide the training and supports necessary to successfully implement and use a KEP-approved assessment.
- The goal of these certified trainers is to provide the necessary level of support needed by educators, teacher, leaders and administrators.
- In collaboration with the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), these certified trainers will provide training participants with continuing education units (CEUs) that also may be used to fulfill Parent Aware requirements.
- MDE typically pays KEP Certified Trainers a rate of $125 per hour. If you or your staff are not able to attend an MDE-sponsored training in a KEP-approved assessment, we encourage you to contract with one of the trainers below. The rate you pay is something that is determined at the local level and is an agreement between your program and the trainer.
