Teacher development and evaluation (TDE) models and Quality Compensation (Q Comp)/Alternative Teacher Professional Pay Systems include multiple activities that seek to support, develop, and sustain continuous professional and student growth. It is critical that local leadership teams (district, school and teacher leaders) assess and continuously improve the design and implementation of these systems to achieve positive outcomes for children and teachers. Visit the Q Comp page
for resources specific to the Q Comp applications or implementation of the Q Comp plan. The resources on this page are relevant whether a district participates in Q Comp or not.
We continue to develop and collect tools, research and other resources to help local leadership teams engage in their TDE work. The information will be organized into four topic areas that you can access using the links on the left of this page.
- Supporting Plan Implementation
- Supporting Student Outcome Measures
- Supporting Teacher Leadership
- Supporting Teacher Practice
The links on the left also include access to Professional Development opportunities and the Teacher Development and Evaluation State Model. Finally, the links on the right will bring you to offsite resources that support educator effectiveness systems.
