Facilities and Technology

School districts build, maintain and renovate facilities to provide surroundings conducive to the education process. In the past 50 years, education has changed and school facilities have also changed to provide for new technology requirements, additional space for early childhood and other community-based partnership programs and state-of-the-art science laboratories. School districts may reorganize in several manners to provide the best educational services to students in a way that maximizes state, local and federal district revenues and use of district facilities.
