Program Monitoring for 2020-21
The Division of Compliance and Assistance is responsible for ensuring each district demonstrates general compliance and continuous improvement in the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
The program monitoring process is undergoing a number of changes as we replace our data management system (Minnesota Continuous Improvement Monitoring Process or MNCIMP) and incorporate student outcomes in our process of determining districts’ needs for support.
Online Training Opportunities
The Minnesota Department of Education offers online training opportunities. Topics include navigating individualized education program (IEP) goals and objectives, progress reporting, and prior written notices. Continuing education units (CEUs) are available upon completion.
